****Important links**** Flip Pre-writing worksheet Scoring rubric (this shows you what I'm grading you on!) ________________________________________________________________________ Hi guys,  This is where you can find everything you need to prepare for the oral exam Thursday 10/6 .  Here is a brief description of the assignment:  For our first exam, students will create a tall tale of their own and present the story to the class on Flip. Students will be graded on their creativity, pronunciation and grammar, expressiveness, and application of the characteristics of tall tales in their stories. Students do not need to memorize their tall tales, but they must read with expressiveness . Please don’t read like a robot! A rubric will be provided for reference. Here's the homework for the week:  Monday 09/12:  Record a short video (30 sec. to 1 min.) on Flip telling me about our story Red Kayak .  Identify the following:  1. Who are the main characters?  2. What is the setting?  3. What is the problem or conflict of the story?  Try to answer the questions as clearly and succinctly as possible. You don't need to retell the whole story. Just answer the above three questions.  If you haven't read the story yet, make sure you read over it quickly and find the answers to the above three questions.
