Remember: this is just an informal assessment to see which vocabulary we need to spend more time on before the unit test. Please do not use your notes, online dictionaries, etc., because that won't help me prepare you for the test!

1. Make sure you have read Thunder Rose.

2. Find at least 1 examples of the following characteristics in Thunder Rose: 

    1. examples of exaggeration/hyperbole

    2. superhuman abilities/feats

    3. solving problems in a humorous/fantastical way

    4. vivid sensory language (*sensory language=descriptions that appeal to our senses)
